How to Increase Inverter Battery Life

Your inverter battery will have a water level indicator showing high and low marks (usually red). When water is sufficient, the indicator will point upward. If it points downward, it means the water level is low.
Always keep adding distilled water to the battery. Using the battery with low water levels can shorten its lifespan. Do not add tap water, as it may contain impurities harmful to the battery. Distilled water is available from inverter dealers.
