Vivo held a joint press conference yesterday with the big three Chinese carriers (China Telecom, China Unicom and China Mobile) to announce a partnership with them on the latest Vivo Watch 2 smartwatch.
At the event, Vivo presented live the Vivo Watch 2 smartwatch, which received a round dial and interchangeable straps. It has also been announced that the watch comes in either silver or matte finishes. In both cases, the case will be metal, with two buttons on the right.
It was also announced that there is a special built-in eSIM card in the Vivo Watch 2 for short messages. The watch can receive SMS messages without the need for a Bluetooth connection to the phone and even without an internet connection.
According to TENAA, the Vivo Watch 2 is equipped with an OLED display, heart rate sensor, built-in GPS, step counter and 515 mAh battery.
The watch will go on sale on December 22nd.
