Intel’s new Core i7 processor will receive fewer cores than Core i5

The data on this processor appeared on the Geekbench benchmark site. Integrated graphics Core i7-12650H tested in OpenCL. As it turned out, this model will have 10 cores, which is less than the i5-12500H (12 cores). However, there is a nuance. The older processor has more productive cores, but fewer energy efficient ones. From a technical standpoint, the Core i7 should be better able to handle heavy tasks, and that may be the only reason the processor is included in the Core i7 lineup.

The integrated graphics, by the way, run on par with the GeForce GTX 760 and Radeon RX 550, so this is definitely aimed at the entry-level segment.
