Intel first showed its “secret” ROC application for easy and fast overclocking of processors

Intel has a “secret” software that can automatically overclock processors perfectly.

The well-known overclocker Der8auer visited the Intel laboratory, where, among other things, he saw a special ROC (Real-Time OverClocking) application in operation, designed for fast, easy, but at the same time very thin overclocking of processors. As the name implies, the overclocking process takes place in real time. The software resembles the Intel XTU (eXtreme Tuning Utility) program available to users, but ROC is much easier to use and allows you to directly control individual cores.

As an experiment, Der8auer tried to overclock a mobile Core i9-13900HK CPU. The processor almost conquered the impressive 6 GHz for a mobile solution, but still failed to reach the mark. But the CPU worked fine at a frequency of 5.8 GHz.

The ROC app is not available and will not be available to regular users yet. Whether this will ever change in the future is unknown.
