Intel Core i9-14900KS Holds World Record for Overclocking [VIDEO]

The ASUS ROG team has accelerated the Intel Core i9-14900KS to a previously unattainable frequency, setting a new world record in this discipline, and at the same time breaking three more records in different benchmarks. An overclocker under the nickname Elmor has already published a video demonstrating the capabilities of the new flagship chip.

During the experiment, the maximum frequency of the “blue” processor was 9117.75 MHz. The record was set by the same Elmor, using a test platform based on the ASUS ROG Maximus Z790 APEX Encore motherboard. Liquid helium was used to cool the Core i9-14900KS. At the same time, the temperature of the chip was -231 °C at a voltage of 1.85 V.

Another overclocker under the nickname Safedisk also set three records with a similar hardware configuration and the same cooling method. In the PiFast benchmark, the result was 6.79 seconds, the SuperPI 1M test was completed in 3.768 seconds, and the PYPrime 32B was completed in 97.596 seconds. Records have already been recorded by the HWBOT portal.
