Governor of the Nizhny Novgorod region Gleb Nikitin spoke about this on Tuesday at the Russian-Chinese business forum in Shanghai, adding that the authorities of the region are conducting the necessary negotiations.
At the same time, we rely on the multiple development of technological cooperation, in particular, in the automotive industry, which is a priority for us. Our cluster includes more than 800 enterprises specializing in the production of automobiles and auto components. We plan to ensure the localization of the production of Chinese-made passenger cars, and negotiations are already underway between our and Chinese manufacturers.
