The Sollers company plans to restart the Mazda production site in Vladivostok, as reported by “Kommersant” Chairman of the Board of Directors Adil Shirinov.
We will definitely use the site in Vladivostok. To date, as in all other sites where we had to reorganize, we have retained 100% of the staff and fully pay for downtime.
Adil Shirinov
He didn’t say exactly what kind of cars the factory would produce, saying details would be released after the holidays.
I don’t think it will be passenger electric vehicles. I think that after the New Year we will be able to talk about this in more detail. It is now important for us to develop the segments of light commercial vehicles and full-size SUVs, where we have a unique market position.
He also added that the advantage of the plant in Vladivostok lies in its location with well-established supply chains with China.
