Infosys’ third quarter net profit jumped 11.8 per cent to Rs 5,809 crore as against Rs 5,197 crore in the same period last year.
Infosys Q3 Result: Infosys, the country’s second largest software company, has announced the results of the third quarter of the current financial year. The company’s third quarter net profit increased by 11.8 per cent to Rs 5,809 crore as against Rs 5,197 crore in the same period last year. Apart from this, the company’s third quarter revenue has increased by 22.9 percent to Rs 31,867 crore. The company’s revenue in the same period a year ago was Rs 25,927 crore. Analysts had estimated Infosys’ net profit to be in the range of 7-10 per cent during the third quarter. Infosys shares closed at Rs 1,877 per share, up 1.2% in today’s trading.

The company has told in the information given to the stock market that it has increased its revenue growth estimate for the financial year 2021-22 to 19.5-20 percent. Salil Parekh, Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director, Infosys said, “The strong performance and market share gains are a testament to the trust our customers have in us to help them in their digital transformation.” Nilanjan Roy, Chief Financial Officer of the company said that the company has performed well during the quarter despite cost escalation mainly due to supply related challenges.
