Inexpensive Intel Core i3-12100 turned out to be the coldest 4-core processor

The novelty from Intel received four cores and eight threads, which operate at a “working” frequency of 3.3 GHz. But it is possible to increase this value to 4.3 GHz. The L2 cache is 5 MB, the L3 cache is 12 MB, and the iGPU UHD Graphics 730 is responsible for graphics. The processor’s power consumption is 60 watts.

By integrating the Core i3-12100 into a test computer with an ASRock Z690 Steel Legend motherboard, 16GB of RAM and an RTX 3060 Ti graphics card, the journalists got an interesting result of the “stone”. They compared it with competitors from AMD – Ryzen 3 3100 and Ryzen 3 3300X.
