maruti suzuki India Limited has exported a record 238,376 units in FY 2021-22, which is the highest in any financial year. The company exported 26,496 units during March 2022, which is the highest ever monthly exports.
Maruti Suzuki has been exporting vehicles since 1986 and has achieved a cumulative export of over 22.5 lakh vehicles. India-made Maruti Suzuki vehicles are exported to more than 100 countries. The top five export models in FY 2021-22 were Baleno, DZire, Swift, S-Presso and Brezza. The top export markets included Latin America, ASEAN, Africa and the Middle East.
Earlier, Maruti Suzuki recently launched its popular car in the Indian market. Maruti Suzuki Baleno ,Maruti Suzuki Baleno) And Maruti Suzuki WagonR ,Maruti Suzuki WagonR) launched new models in the Indian market. Talking about the new Baleno, its starting ex-showroom price in the Indian market is Rs 6.35 lakh, which goes up to Rs 9.49 lakh. Many new features have been given in it as compared to before. Maruti Suzuki has built its new Baleno on the new Crafted Futurism design language. More than 20 safety features have been given in it. Many segment first features have been given in the new Maruti Baleno. These include a 360 degree view camera with Head Up Display (HUD) and 3D view for parking.
Talking about the new WagonR, its starting Delhi ex-showroom price is Rs 5.40 lakh, which goes up to Rs 6.98 lakh on its top end variant. The mileage of the new WagonR has been increased by 16 percent in the petrol model and 5 percent in the CNG model. It gives a mileage of 25.19 kmpl in petrol and 34.05 kmpkg in CNG variant.
