India’s UPI is making waves across the world. Recently, after using UPI on the Eiffel Tower, India’s digital connectivity with 2 more countries will increase. Prime Minister Narendra Modi will launch UPI service for Sri Lanka and Mauritius today i.e. on 12th February. Along with this, UPI and RuPay connectivity will be available in these two countries also. This is being considered a big step towards making UPI global.
PM Modi will launch UPI for these countries at 1 pm. This will provide great convenience to Indian tourists in these two countries. After the Eiffel Tower in France, UPI service will be gradually implemented in the entire country.

According to information received from the Ministry of External Affairs, after this launch, UPI service will start in Sri Lanka and Mauritius. With the introduction of UPI, Indian tourists visiting these two countries and citizens of Mauritius visiting India will also be benefited. RuPay connectivity will also be started for Mauritius. Digital infrastructure will be strong
The Ministry of External Affairs said that after the launch of RuPay card services in Mauritius, RuPay card can be used in India as well as Mauritius. India has emerged as the leader of the fintech revolution. The digital infrastructure in the country has become strong. With this launch, people on both sides will be able to get the facilities of digital transactions across the border. Besides, India’s digital connectivity with these countries will also increase.
