Soon the roads of India will become like America. The Government of India is working day by day to improve the roads and highways of the country. At the same time, the day is not far when the roads of India will become like America. This is not what we say but Road Transport and Highways Minister Nitin Gadkari himself. Gadkari said in a program that roads have an important role in achieving the goal of making the country a developed country. He has told when India’s roads will become number one in the world.

When will the roads become like America?

By the end of this year, India’s road network will be as dazzling as America’s. The central government is building 36 express highways across the country, which will significantly reduce the travel time between different cities. He said that with the construction of the highway project connecting Delhi to Chennai, the distance between the two cities will be reduced by 320 km. The Union Minister said that ethanol is being made from bamboo in Numaligarh, Assam. Due to change in fuel and development of good roads, logistics cost in the country will reduce to single digits.

There is a need for good infrastructure

Gadkari said, one thing is clear that if we want capital investment and development of industry then we need good infrastructure. Without water, electricity, transport and communication, we cannot develop agriculture, services and industry. We cannot develop tourism without infrastructure. Gadkari said, ‘When Modi ji became PM in 2014, he gave highest priority to the development of infrastructure in the country. When we have decided to make a great country developed, we will also have to develop global standard infrastructure and we are making every possible effort for this. He said that ethanol is being prepared from bamboo in the north-eastern state of Assam.
