Myanmar has been shaken by the rapid tremors of the earthquake in the last two days. On Friday, there was a huge havoc after a 7.7 magnitude earthquake. Now earthquake tremors have been felt on Saturday too. The intensity of the earthquake was measured at 5.1 on Saturday afternoon. At the same time, India has sent a medical team force under ‘Operation Brahma’ to provide relief from the earthquake. The death toll from earthquake in Myyar has reached 1644.

Operation of India Brahma

The situation remains serious after the devastating earthquake in Myanmar. India has also shown solidarity with Myanmar, showing readiness for frequent relief rescue work. India expressed condolences and assured all possible help. India has deployed a Special Medical Task Force under Operation Brahma for relief and rescue operations.

India helped Myanmar’s disaster

The 118 -member medical team under the leadership of Lieutenant Colonel Jagneet Gill has been sent to Myanmar. This team is part of the Airborne Angels Task Force, which is trained in providing medical and surgical aid during emergency. Essential medicines have been sent with the team.

A 60 -bed treatment center will be established in earthquake affected areas in Myanmar. Under which emergency services will be provided.
