The Defense Research and Development Organization of India has successfully conducted the first flight test of a self-developed Pralai surface-to-surface missile.
According to the organization’s press release – “The new rocket followed the desired trajectory and reached the intended target with a high degree of accuracy, confirming the efficiency of the control, guidance and flight algorithms. “
The rocket is equipped with a solid propellant engine and the latest technology. It has a range of up to 500 kilometers and can be launched from a mobile launcher. The missile guidance system includes modern navigation and integrated avionics.
Chairman of the Board Dr. Reddy’s Laboratories Sathish Reddy thanked the development team and said that the adoption of this missile will give the Indian military the necessary advantage.
