India began to place the first S-400 complexes purchased from Russia

According to the local TV channel Republic TV, the whole process “started” on the western border of India, in Punjab. It is there that it is planned to deploy the first regimental set of air defense systems. At the same time, the next batch of complexes from Russia is expected in the next few weeks.

It is reported that not all copies will be placed exclusively in the west. Some of the complexes will be directed to the east of India.

Note that the exact number of complexes supplied by Russia to India is still unknown. At the same time, Moscow also does not comment in any way on the publication of the Indian media on the supply of S-400 air defense systems to the country.
