Increased demand for two-wheelers in India, increase in sales of bike-scooters of all companies including Hero-Honda

Hero MotoCorp continues to thrive
If we look at the August 2022 two-wheeler sales report, Hero MotoCorp, the country’s and the world’s largest two-wheeler company, has sold about 4.51 lakh bikes and scooters, which is 4.55 percent more than August 2021 and 4.66 percent more than July 2022. It is followed by Honda two-wheelers, which sold a total of 3.23 lakh two-wheelers last month with an annual growth of over 5 per cent. TVS Motor Company sold 2.39 lakh two-wheelers in August 2022 and this is a growth of 33 percent compared to August 2021. These three companies sell the largest number of motorcycles and scooters in India and have popular two-wheelers in every segment. Their monthly and annual sales have increased.

Looking at the August 2022 two-wheelers sales report, Bajaj Auto sold around 2.33 lakh two-wheelers last month and this is 48 percent more than August 2021 and 42 percent more than July 2022. After this, Suzuki sold a total of 64,654 two-wheelers last month, registering an annual growth of 4 per cent and a monthly growth of 6 per cent. The last month was a great one for Royal Enfield, where the homegrown company sold a total of 62,892 two-wheelers. This number is accompanied by a growth of 60 per cent over August 2021 and 35 per cent over July 2022. Now the festival season has started in India and in such a situation, the sales of two wheelers will increase further.
