MG Hector new and old look
The new Hector is instantly recognizable by its new and bigger front grille, which covers almost the entire front end. Which is able to attract more people’s attention than the small grille given in its old car. Apart from the grille, the front bumper has also been changed. While the split headlamp/DRL treatment has been retained from the old Hector, the side view mirrors have also been retained. The rear gets a new look with connected taillamps, ADAS and new badging. These changes give the car a wider look.
New and Used MG Hector Interior
The new MG Hector also gets a good change in terms of better quality, design and other things. We love the new airvents, while the dual-tone look makes it feel more premium. Of course, what catches most attention is the new 14-inch HD touchscreen and the new digital instrument cluster. In terms of new finish, new trim is being added while the center console now houses more buttons than before. At the same time, an electronic parking brake has also been given in the new Hector. Another major factor that makes it stand out from the older one is the presence of ADAS features. Which was not there in the old model.
New and Used MG Hector Engines
There is no change here, as the Hector continues with the 1.5L turbo petrol line-up. However, there is no mild hybrid on offer now, while the 2.0L diesel continues. Petrol comes mated to CVT automatic. While the DCT petrol is no longer available unlike the earlier Hector, which originally came with DCT petrol. Diesel remains manual only.

The new Hector is priced at Rs. 14.7 lakhs, while its top-end variant costs Rs. 21.7 lakhs, which is more than the price of the old Hector. But there are many changes like new look, more features and bigger screen. At the same time, the updated cabin is also better than before.
