Local doctors are now officially allowed to vaccinate children between the ages of 5 and 11 against COVID-19. At the same time, the drugs of the American company Pfizer and the German company BioNTech act as approved vaccines.
Interestingly, within the framework of the vote, the agreement was unanimous. The childhood dose of the vaccine is reported to be about 1/3 of the adult dose. The second dose is planned to be administered “with an interval of three weeks”.
The first COVID-19 vaccines will go on sale next Friday, November 5.
Recall that earlier US President Joe Biden announced his intention to allow vaccinating children aged 5 to 11 years.
