In Russia, they began to sell the Toyota Aqua hatchback from Japan. The car is available with a hybrid power plant based on a 1.5-liter gasoline engine with 91 hp. and an 80 hp electric motor. The torque is transmitted to the wheels through a traditional Toyota electromechanical variator. Fuel consumption is only about 2.8 liters per 100 kilometers.
Despite the fact that Aqua is a compact model (dimensions – 4050 x 1695 x 1485 mm), it noticeably surpasses the Granta sedan in terms of wheelbase (2600 mm) – with a length of almost 4.3 m, the wheelbase is 2476 mm.
The Aqua equipment has climate and cruise controls, a large-screen media system, a multifunction steering wheel, and the top version has a leather interior and a panoramic roof. In the Russian Federation, they ask for 1.7 million rubles for Aqua.
