Geely is preparing to present a new crossover on the Russian market, which will be part of the Atlas lineup. New cars have already arrived in the country, and the journalist of Journal Avto.ru managed to photograph one of the examples in the parking lot of the brand’s press-park. It is estimated that this model will appear in the market in 2024.
The photos show the crossover, known in China as Geely Boyue Cool. It is the younger brother of the model Boyue L (also known as Starray or the new Atlas). The car, developed on the CMA platform jointly with Volvo, has dimensions of 4510 x 1865 x 1650 mm and a wheelbase of 2701 mm. In China it is equipped with a 1,5-liter 181-horsepower turbomotor with a torque of 290 Nm, working in pair with a seven-stage «robot». The front-wheel-drive crossover accelerates to 100 km/h in 7.9 seconds, and the average fuel consumption is 6.44 liters per 100 km.
In China, six trim levels of Geely Boyue Cool are available at prices ranging from 1.28 to 1.61 million rubles in our money. The salon is installed digital instrument panel size 10,25 inches, vertical screen multimedia system size 13,2 inches with chip Qualcomm Snapdragon 8155, there is voice control, wireless update of software, adaptive cruise-control, system assistance when driving in traffic and other smart functions.
Supposedly, for the Russian market Boyue Cool will be renamed into Atlas Cool, however the features of the model for Russia have not yet been disclosed.
