In Russia, Facebook owners were fined 13 million rubles for refusing to delete prohibited information



This decision was made by the Tagansky District Court of Moscow in connection with the failure to remove the prohibited information from the links by the social network. This mainly concerns calls for young people to go to protest actions.

“Meta Platforms Inc. found guilty of committing administrative offenses under parts 2 and 4 of article 13.41 of the Code of Administrative Offenses of the Russian Federation. The penalty was imposed in the form of administrative fines in the amount of 5 million, 5 million and 3 million rubles, respectively, ”the press service of the court reported.
