According to the source, Oppo is preparing two important smartphones for itself. The former, codenamed Peacock, will be a foldable large-screen model like the Galaxy Z Fold3 or Huawei Mate X, while the latter will be codenamed Butterfly. It will be the flagship on the Qualcomm Snapdragon 898 platform.
Naturally, the commercial name of Peacock will be different. Possible options – Oppo Find Fold or Oppo Fold X. It will have two displays – a regular outer and a foldable inner diagonal of 7.8-8.0 inches. Both screens are with OLED panels, large resolution – QHD +. It is expected that the smartphone will receive a front-facing 32-megapixel camera and a main multi-module with a main sensor with a resolution of 50 megapixels. The capacity of the rechargeable battery will be 4500 mAh, and the charging power will be 65 W. Since the device will be presented next month, it will debut with Android 11 and Color OS 12. Apparently, the hardware platform of this model will be the Snapdragon 888.
Nothing is said about Butterfly, except that it will be built on the Snapdragon 898. Perhaps this codename denotes the promising Oppo Find X5.
