The first over-the-air (OTA) update for Nothing Phone (1) has arrived. The 120 MB update contains some bug fixes and new features.
In particular, the NFT widget has been added, which allows you to display non-fungible tokens directly on the desktop. The NFT Gallery section will appear in the widget menu on your phone after the update is installed.
With the update, Nothing Phone (1) users can remove the Google search bar from their home screen, and Glyph’s signature backlighting is now available when the phone is in portrait mode. Photos taken in low light conditions are now clearer and contain less noise, while the main and ultra-wide sensors now provide improved color consistency.
For Tesla owners, the update adds the ability to access certain controls. For example, you can use your Nothing Phone (1) to turn on your Tesla air conditioner before you get in your car, turn on the lights inside the car, and even flash your headlights to help you find where you parked your car.
Bug fixes, including one that caused the under-display fingerprint sensor to disappear on the lock screen. The speed and performance of Face Unlock has been improved. The update also comes with the July Android security patch.
