However, they can be misused if your phone gets stolen or falls into the wrong hands. If you lose your mobile phone, make sure your account is protected. Here we have explained how you can save your money by blocking your Paytm, Google Pay and PhonePe after you lose your phone.

How to block Google Pay?

step 1: For this you have to call the helpline number 18004190157 of Google Pay and select the correct option for other issues.

Step 2: Next, follow the instructions and select the option to talk to an expert who will navigate you to block your Google Play account. In this way your Google Pay account will be blocked.

How to temporarily block Paytm?

step 1: As soon as you lose your phone or your mobile is stolen call you Paytm helpline number 01204456456 ASAP.

Step 2: Follow the instructions and select the option for lost phone.

Step 3: Now choose the option to enter a different number and enter your lost phone number.

Step 4: Now select the option to log out from all the devices and go to the official website of Paytm.

Step 5: Here now you have to tap on 24×7 Help and go to ‘Report A Fraud’ tab.

Step 6: Next, select any issue and then tap on the Message Us button at the bottom.

Step 7: Now, you need to submit a proof that the account is yours, just like you can submit a debit/credit card details including a Paytm account transaction, a confirmation email or SMS for a Paytm account transaction, or the ownership of the phone number Proof, or police complaint against missing can be evidence.

Step 8: Thus once it is done, Paytm will block your account and a confirmation message will be sent to your registration mobile number.

How to block Phone Pe account

step 1: The process to block a Phone Pe account is similar to that of Google Pay. You have to call on PhonePe’s helpline number 08068727374 or 02268727374 and follow the instructions.

Step 2: On following the instructions carefully, a representative will speak to the users and he/she will be required to tell you the details like phone number, email id, last payment, last transaction value etc. After this your PhonePe account will be blocked.
