Tata Punch Rival Hyundai Casper India Launch Soon: Hyundai Motors is preparing to bring a good car in almost every segment in India next year and in this effort, it can launch Hyundai Casper in the micro SUV segment. The Hyundai Casper, which has been competing against the affordable compact SUVs as well as micro SUVs like the Tata Punch and Maruti Ignis, was unveiled in the global market this year. It is believed that in the coming time it can also be introduced in the Indian market. However, information has not been given officially about its India launch.
Great looking small SUV
Hyundai Motors has not yet launched any car in the Micro SUV segment, but the way the craze is being seen here about Tata Punch, the company can launch Casper. At present, talking about its look and features, 3595 mm long, 1595 mm wide and 1575 mm high, this micro SUV has been developed on the K1 compact car platform. It gets round shape headlamps, LED DRLs, LED rings in the lower bumper, aggressive bumper, silver finish skid plate, wide air dam, clamshell bonnet with aggressive creases, dual tone roof tails, squarish wheel arches, multi spoke alloy wheels along with all the four sides. Black plastic cladding body will be seen on the side.
Features, Engine and Power
Talking about the features of the Hyundai Casper, the Hyundai Venue-inspired short SUV gets dual tone interiors as well as an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Android Auto and Apple Car Play support, BlueLink technology, reverse parking camera, multifunctional steering wheels, dual airbags. There are many special standards and safety related features like keyless entry, adjustable handrest. Talking about the Hyundai Casper engine, it will get a 1.1 liter naturally aspirated petrol engine, which will be able to generate power of up to 69PS. Along with this, there will also be a 1.2 liter naturally aspirated petrol engine, which will be able to generate power up to 82bhp. Hyundai Casper can be offered in 5-speed manual and automatic transmission options. The price of this micro SUV can be between Rs 5-9 lakh.
