Hyundai Solaris, is that you? All-new Solaris will get a digital instrument panel, Bose acoustics and seat ventilation

Hyundai has published on the web another video teaser and several images of the interior of the new Verna sedan for India, known in Russia as the Solaris. And now we can state that the car will receive not only a radically new design on the outside, but also a completely new interior, in which the “state employee” so beloved by the Russians is hardly guessed.

Solaris next generation will have two screens with a diagonal of 10.25 inches, one as part of the digital instrument panel, the other as part of the media system. This media system in the top version will be complemented by Bose acoustics with eight speakers.

Perhaps the most unusual solution is a touch-sensitive control panel for the media system, climate control and navigation with reassignable keys. It looks interesting and practical, but whether it will be convenient to use such a system (in comparison with conventional keys) is a question.

Finally, judging by the pictures, the front seats of the sedan will not only be heated, but also ventilated.

Earlier it was reported that the new Verna will be equipped with two 1.5-liter engines: atmospheric 115 hp. and turbocharged 160 hp. The classic “automatic” in India will not be offered, instead of it – a “robot” or a variator.
