According to Quto.ru, Russian dealers (not only “gray”, but also official ones) began to import Hyundai Sante Fe crossovers from Kazakhstan into the country. Their key difference from the models imported from South Korea is the lower price. So, for the all-wheel drive Sante Fe with a 2.2 diesel engine with a power of 200 hp. and all-wheel drive are asking for 4 million rubles (while for the official Hyundai Sante Fe asked for 5-7 million rubles).
The equipment of such a diesel Santa Fe is very good: already in the base there is a Supervision instrument panel with a color screen, an interior mirror with an auto-dimming function, heated leather seats (both front and rear), ventilation of the front seats, heated wiper parking area, parking sensors in front and rear, heated windshield washer nozzles, heated steering wheel, atmospheric interior lighting, rain sensor, power tailgate, wireless charging for smartphones, Harman Kardon acoustics with 10 speakers, keyless entry system.
Interestingly, in Kazakhstan itself, diesel Santa Fes are not in great demand, but local dealers are actively ordering them for subsequent sale to Russians. The warranty issue remains, but the sellers say they can resolve it “through their internal channels.”
