From the new year, some companies are preparing to increase the price of their vehicles. In this sequence, Hyundai India has also announced to increase the price of its cars in India. Hyundai will increase the price of all its models from next year i.e. January, 2023. The company attributed this to rising input costs.

Hyundai India will increase the price of its hatchback and SUV range in India. This will include models such as the Grand i10 Nios, Verna, Venue, Creta, Alcazar, Kona Electric and Tucson.
Let us tell you that the company is preparing to launch its new electric SUV, Hyundai Ioniq 5 in India. The company is going to start its booking from 20 December. According to the information, Hyundai Ionic 5 can be launched in India at a price of around Rs 50 lakh (ex-showroom). The company will assemble this electric SUV at its plant in Tamil Nadu.
Apart from Hyundai, Kia India, Maruti Suzuki, Renault, Mercedes-Benz, Tata Motors, Citroën, Jeep India and MG have also announced a price hike from January 2023.

Talking about two-wheeler companies, till now Hero MotoCorp and Torque Motors have announced to increase the price of vehicles. Talking about the sales for the month of November last, Hyundai has sold 48,003 units of cars in India.
Compared to November 2021 where Hyundai Motors saw an increase of 29.73% in sales. Hyundai Motors continues to hold a strong position in the market in India with subcompact SUVs like Venue and Creta.
