Explain that Hyundai Ioniq 5 is the company’s second electric SUV in the Indian market, already selling the company Kona EV. It is based on Hyundai’s new electric-global modular platform ( E-GMP).
India-Spec Ionic 5 offers 72.8 kWh lithium-ion battery pack, Regarding this, the company claims that it can give a driving range of 631 km per full charge ( ARAI-certified ). It can be charged from super-fast 350 kW DC charger to 10 to 80 percent in just 18 minutes. Talking about powertrains, its electric motor develops 214 bhp max power and 350 Nm peak torque. It gets V2L ( vehicle-to-load ) innovative technology.
With the V2L technology provided in it, customers can power and use electrical equipment up to 3.6kW inside and outside the car. In even easier terms, you can also play your home TV or other equipment using its power, which is up to 3.6kW. This will be the new flagship model of this South Korean car manufacturer in the Indian market. It will be assembled locally to keep its price favorable to the Indian market.
It includes sliding center console, sliding glove-box, level 2 ADAS, two 12.3-inch screen screens ( one infotainment system and one instrument console ), V2L ( vehicle-to-load ) technology, Bose’s eight-speaker music system, blueink connected car tech, powered tailgate, heated and ventilated front seats, dual-zone climate control, Features like wireless charging and powered front seats ( with lumbar support and memory function ). It will get six airbags, ABS with EBD, VESS, EPB, MCB and all 4 disc brakes.
Talking about dimensions, the upcoming Hyundai Ioniq 5 will have a length of – 4,635mm, width – 1,890mm and height – 1,625mm. Its wheelbase will be 3,000mm. It will feature three color options – Matte Gravity Gold, Optic White and Midnight Black Pearl. Ioniq 5 will compete in electric cars like Kia EV6 and Volvo XC40 recharge in the market.
