Hyundai includes three point safety seatbelt in its portfolio, will get more safety

Hyundai Motor Safety Update: South Korean automaker Hyundai Motor India Limited has announced that it has updated its entire lineup of passenger vehicles with 3-point seatbelts and seatbelt reminder as standard. Currently, the company’s portfolio includes models such as Grand i10 Nios, Aura, i20, i20 N Line, Venue, Venue N Line, Verna, Creta, Alcazar Kona Electric, Tucson, Ionic 5.

Added Safety Features

Along with the updates to the seatbelts, the company has included Electronic Stability Control ie ESC, Vehicle Stability Management (VSM) and Hill Assist Control (HAC) as standard across all models except the Grand i10 Nios, Aura and i20. Recently, apart from Tucson and Kona Electric, the company included the feature of 6 airbags as standard in Creta, Alcazar and Ionic 5. While the Grand 110 Nios and Aura get four airbags as standard. Also, the Creta and the Alcazar were recently upgraded with rear disc brakes.

We continuously strive to advance the safety standards of our product line-up. As per the Government of India directive, we have upgraded all our cars with 3-point seatbelts and seatbelt reminder as standard for all seats. We believe this will further enhance the safety of our customers.”
