Huawei’s maneuver has led to the launch of 5G-enabled smartphones. Hi nova 9 SE gets Snapdragon 695 5G SoC, 108MP camera and big camera

On April 19, China will start selling the Hi nova 9 SE smartphone, which China Post Communications is responsible for, but in fact it is the most Huawei Nova 9 SE with one fundamental difference: if Nova 9 SE uses the SoC Snapdragon 680, then Hi nova 9 SE is based on the Snapdragon 695 5G. A very simple maneuver by Huawei with this “rebranding” provided access to single-chip systems with built-in 5G modems. Naturally, such devices will not be legally supplied outside of China, and inside the country, in fact, nothing changes – users who need a 5G smartphone also benefit (in China, unlike most countries in the world, 5G really works), and the company itself.

Another difference between Hi nova 9 SE and Huawei Nova 9 SE is hidden in the camera – in the module with an ultra-wide-angle lens, the “new model” uses a sensor with a resolution of 16 megapixels versus 8 megapixels for the original. Otherwise, Hi nova 9 SE is a complete clone of Huawei Nova 9 SE. There is a 6.78-inch IPS screen with Full HD + resolution, an embedded 16-megapixel camera, a main camera with sensors with a resolution of 108, 8 and 2 megapixels (in addition to 16-megapixel), a 4000 mAh battery with support for 66 W fast charging and side fingerprint scanner.

Pricing has already been announced: $390 for the 8GB RAM and 128GB storage version and $455 for the 8GB RAM and 256GB storage variant. The Hi nova 9 SE is about $50 more expensive than the Nova 9 SE.
