HUAWEI Unveils Affordable MatePad 11.5 (2025) Tablet with Anti-Glare Screen
At the global launch event for the Pura 80 series smartphones in Dubai, HUAWEI introduced the updated MatePad 11.5 (2025) tablet. This affordable model is designed for everyday work and study, featuring a slim body, a large display, and support for accessories to boost productivity.
The tablet comes with an all-metal body measuring just 6.85 mm thick and features an 11.5-inch LCD screen with a resolution of 2200×1440 pixels, a 120Hz refresh rate, and brightness up to 420 nits. An optional PaperMate anti-glare coating is available, which reduces reflections and improves outdoor visibility. The tablet weighs 499 grams.
The MatePad 11.5 supports an external keyboard and the third-generation M-Pencil stylus. It comes pre-installed with WPS Office, allowing users to work with documents just like on a PC. For media consumption, the tablet includes four speakers. An 8MP front camera handles video calls, while a 13MP camera is placed on the back for photos.
The base model includes 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. A higher-end version with 8GB RAM and 256GB storage also comes with the PaperMate screen. Power is supplied by a 7,700mAh battery that supports 22.5W charging.
In Dubai, pricing starts at $270 for the standard version and $350 for the higher-spec model.
