The HUAWEI family of laptops has been replenished with an updated version of the MateBook X Pro model. The thin and light laptop is equipped with a powerful processor, a bright screen with minimal bezels and a fast charging function for both its own battery and other gadgets.
The 14.2-inch display of new items with a resolution of 3120×2080 pixels has a refresh rate of 90 Hz and a maximum brightness of 500 nits. It occupies 92.5% of the lid area, while the company still placed the webcam in the top frame, and not in the keyboard. Another feature of the touchscreen display with 10-point multi-touch is support for the DCI-P3 color gamut (more than a billion shades).
The laptop is powered by an Intel Core i5-1155G7 or Core i7-1195G7 processor paired with 16 GB of RAM and a 512 GB or 1 TB SSD, depending on the modification. In performance mode, the CPU power limit increases to 30W. The company has also redesigned the cooling system, increasing airflow by 60% compared to last year’s model.
The portable PC supports 90W SuperCharge fast charging technology, which provides 3 hours of autonomy in just 15 minutes at the outlet. The laptop itself is capable of acting as a power supply for smartphones and tablets, delivering 50 watts through USB Type-C ports. Another feature of the model was an audio system of six speakers and four microphones to improve the quality of conference calls.
The price of HUAWEI MateBook X Pro (2022) in the European region will be from €1899 depending on the configuration.
