EPF withdrawal can be done online only through the website of Employees’ Provident Fund Organization (EPFO). Employees’ Provident Fund commonly known as EPF is a mandatory contribution provident fund that provides savings, pension and insurance benefits to employees in India. All regular workers in the country are required to contribute 12 per cent of their basic salary (and dearness allowance, where applicable) to the fund every month as per the provision.
This contribution is credited to the EPF account of the employees and the entire amount contributed, along with the employer’s contribution and interest, can be withdrawn at the time of retirement. However, this money can be withdrawn even before the completion of the time period, for which there are some methods. In this article, we are telling you how you can withdraw money from your EPF account online.
