Banking Fraud Alert: Along with the increasing digitization in India, there has also been a rapid increase in the cases of fraud. In such a situation, many big banks of the country keep warning their customers from time to time. Big public sector banks i.e. State Bank of India and Bank of Baroda have issued an alert regarding large cyber frauds to their customers.
The bank has given some tips to the customers through which they can keep themselves safe from financial fraud. Along with this, banks have also advised to take care of some special things while using net banking and mobile banking. We inform you about-

The largest public sector bank i.e. State Bank of India has told people that if they do not use any banking facility like ATM card, POS or CNP, then they can easily disabling it. If these features are not used for a long time, many cyber criminals misuse it and empty people’s accounts. The bank also gives the facility to the customers to disable these features.

BOB has given these tips to stay cyber safe-
- Do not open any kind of unverified UPI link.
- Do not share your personal details like Aadhar card, PAN card details etc. with anyone.
- Do not share the PIN of your Debit Card, Credit Card etc. with anyone.
- Pay special attention to any email or message.
- Before opening any link, check whether it starts with http:// or not.
