Get the numbers done
If the mobile number is changed, then the new number should be updated in your required account. These include bank account, Aadhaar card, PF account and other urgent accounts. At the same time it is very important to update the mobile number in the Aadhaar card also. If you have not updated the mobile number in the Aadhaar card, get it done immediately.
How to link mobile number with Aadhaar card?
- Visit your nearest base enrollment center.
- Fill in the base correction form.
- Then fill in the mobile number that you want to update in your base card.
- Aadhaar takes your biometrics for executive authentication and finally submits the form.
- Keep the Update Request Number (URN) slip about your request, the executive will give you the Acknowledgment Slip of your request.
- Update request number can be used to track the status of base update.
- Once the linking process is complete, you will get Aadhaar OTP.
