More than 5 thousand people were selected for research, scientists tracked their health for three decades. And for each clinical assessment, blood pressure was measured, for better analysis of the data, the participants were assigned to four categories by race and gender.
It turned out that among men and women in both racial groups, the frequency of physical activity fell by the age of 40, and at the same time, blood pressure indicators increased.
According to the researchers, this suggests that youth is the ideal time to prevent hypertension in middle age. This can be achieved through regular health promotion programs aimed at increasing activity.
