The Out of Office Hours resource set out to find out how much space the default applications take up in the Windows 11 operating system.
The analysis showed that the largest application in terms of volume is Microsoft Teams, which is 91 MB in size. The Microsoft Store Purchase app is approximately 37MB in size.
As a result, it was found that the total amount of applications that are installed by default with Windows 11 is about 1.6 GB. On the one hand, this is not so much compared to the size of modern drives.
On the other hand, if the system is installed on a minimum capacity SSD, and you never use certain applications, then you can always delete them. For this step by step guide published.
