1. Battery and Range
TVS has launched the new iQube electric scooter in three variants. This includes the iCube Standard, iCube S and iCube ST. Whereas the old iCube was available in only one variant. Coming to the battery, the iCube Stand and S use a 3.04 kWh lithium-ion battery, while the iQube ST packs the biggest battery pack of 4.56 kWh.
The old iCube, on the other hand, was only made available in a 2.25 kWh battery pack. The range has also increased with the new battery pack. TVS iCube offers a range of 100 kms (ARAI certified) on stand and S single charge. At the same time, the certified range of the iQube ST is 140 km on a single charge. In comparison, the old TVS iCube had a range of only 75 kms. The base variant of the iQube now offers a longer range of 25 kms.
2. Power and Torque
The company has introduced the 2022 TVS iCube with a bigger battery but the company has not changed the capacity of the electric motor. The new iCube delivers 4.4 kW of peak power and 140 Nm of torque, similar to the old model. However, the company has further smoothed the power delivery in the new scooter, making the experience of driving the scooter more fun.
The new TVS iCube comes with a variety of charger options, while the old iCube was only available with a 500kW charger. 650 kW and 950 kW with the standard and S variants of the new iCube, which can fully charge the scooter’s battery in 4.5 hours and 3 hours respectively. At the same time, the option of 1.5kW portable fast charger is also available in the ST variant.
The new TVS iCube is now offering more features than ever before. The base variant of the iCube gets a 5.0-inch color TFT display, which has been around for the scooter since its inception, but the S and ST versions now get a 7.0-inch TFT touchscreen display.
The scooter’s connected features have also been expanded, and the 7.0-inch screen variant also has Alexa integration, where you can talk to your Alexa device at home and ask questions like your scooter’s range, charging status and many more. can ask. Despite giving all kinds of updates, TVS has slashed the starting price of the new iCube. The old TVS iCube was priced at Rs 1.15 lakh.
