1. Aadhaar Letter

It is a paper-based laminated letter. It contains a QR code with the date of issue and print date. Aadhaar letter can be made for free. The process of getting the necessary biometric update is also free. It is sent to the person via post. If your original Aadhaar card is torn or lost, you can get a new one. You can do this by visiting the UIDAI website.

2. Aadhaar PVC Card

Aadhaar PVC card is a new version of Aadhaar. This Aadhaar card is PVC based. It is stronger than the normal Aadhaar card, so it does not burst easily. It consists of a digitally signed Aadhaar secured QR code, a photo and demographic information. It is sent to the resident’s address through Speed Post. You can go to uidai.gov.in or Resident.uidai.gov.in and get it with a fee of Rs 50.

3. e-Aadhaar

It is the electronic form of Aadhaar. E-Aadhaar contains a password. It also has a QR code. It is digitally signed by UIDAI. Using your registered mobile number, you can get your e-Aadhaar from the official website of UIDAI. It can be downloaded for free.

4. mAadhaar:

mAadhaar is an official mobile app created by UIDAI. It provides an interface to Aadhaar number holders to carry their Aadhaar records registered with the CIDR. This record contains demographic data and an Aadhaar number with a photograph. It also has a secure QR code. mAadhaar can be downloaded for free.
