How long did it take for a dinosaur to hatch from an egg?

A study by Dr. Gregory Erickson and colleagues has provided an answer to the question of how long it takes for the herbivorous platypus Hypacrosaurus and Protoceratops, a horned dinosaur associated with Triceratops, to hatch. It turned out that the baby of the Hypacrosaurus crawled out of the shell after about 5.8 months, and the protoceratops – after 2.8 months.
