If you’re considering purchasing a new scooter in the near future, this news is worth noting. Honda, a prominent scooter manufacturer in India, has recently expanded its lineup with the introduction of the Stylo 160 Neo-Retro scooter. It’s worth mentioning that the Indian scooter segment is largely dominated by 110cc and 125cc models, with the Yamaha Aerox 155cc catering to those seeking a more powerful engine. Honda has recently filed a design patent for the Stylo 160 Neo-Retro, which is currently available for sale in Indonesia. There are expectations that this scooter will soon be launched in India.

Key Features of the Scooter:

The Honda Stylo 160 stands out with its neo-retro profile, featuring hexagonal LED headlamps, round rear-view mirrors, C-size LED DRLs, pointed LED tail lamps, comfortable seats, and a robust grab rail. Its attractive design is expected to appeal particularly to the younger generation. The Stylo 160 is available in six color options: Royal Green, Royal Matte White, Royal Matte Black, Glam Red, Glam Black, and Glam Beige.

Equipped with Advanced Technology:

The Royal variant of the Stylo 160 comes with front forks and a grab rail finished in silver. Meanwhile, the Glam variant features standard black seats and a black floorboard area, with black-finished front forks and grab rails. The scooter comes with a new fully digital instrument panel displaying digital clock, fuel consumption, tripmeter, speedometer, and ABS indicator. Additionally, the Smartkey includes an answer-back system and anti-theft alarm.

Expected Price Range:

At the rear, the scooter features a swing arm with single suspension. It weighs 118 kg (ABS) / 115 kg (CBS) and offers a ground clearance of 151 mm. The Honda Stylo 160 is powered by a 156.9cc, liquid-cooled, 4-valve, ESP+ engine, producing maximum power of 15.4bhp and peak torque of 13.8Nm. The anticipated price of the scooter may start from around Rs 1.50 lakh.
