Honda Stylo 160 India: Leading two-wheeler company Honda has recently patented the design of four big bikes in India. The name of a powerful scooter has also been added to this list. The Japanese company has also patented the design of Stylo 160 scooter. At present this step is limited only to intellectual property rights, but the company may surprise you by launching this scooter. The special thing is that the Stylo 160 scooter will be more powerful than the Honda Activa. Currently it is sold in Indonesia, but now this scooter will be seen in India also.
When launched in India, Honda Stylo 160 will compete with powerful scooters like Yamaha Aerox 155 and the upcoming Hero Xoom 160. This scooter is sold only in Indonesia. It was launched there earlier this year. The upcoming scooter has been designed in such a way that customers of all ages can like it.
Honda Stylo 160: Features
If we look at the features of Honda Stylo 160, its body is a bit curvy. The oval shaped headlamp gives a great look to the scooter. Apart from this, there are bold and curvaceous design lines with a large single-piece seat and a strong grab rail. To give a better look to its simple but attractive design, there is full LED lighting, a digital console, keyless start system and a USB charger.
Honda Stylo 160: Engine
Powering the Stylo is a 156.9cc, single-cylinder liquid-cooled engine. It makes around 16bhp and 15Nm of torque and comes with a CVT system. It has 12-inch alloy wheels which come with telescopic forks and a monoshock.
The braking setup on the higher-spec variants comprises of a single disc at both ends with single-channel ABS. It is also available with CBS in the much cheaper version. The Stylo 160 weighs 118 kg.
More powerful than Honda Activa
Honda is a big name in India in the scooter segment. Honda Activa is its most popular scooter . However, in terms of size, Stylo 160 may be longer and wider than Honda Activa. Activa comes with engines up to 124cc, but Stylo will get a 156.9cc engine. At present, Honda has not shared the details of the launch of Stylo 160, we will have to wait for some time.
