Honda removes Jazz, WR-V and City from its official website

Honda has removed three popular cars from its official website. These cars include the Jazz, WR-V and the City (4th generation). However, the company is selling new variants of these vehicles, which include City, City Hybrid and Amaze.

Let us tell you that the fifth generation Honda City was launched in the year 2020, which was costlier than the fourth generation. Apart from this, Honda suffered losses due to the introduction of many new models in the SUV segment. There was a decrease in the sales of both Jazz and WR-V.

Apart from this, Jazz and WR-V are also very popular cars of the company, which have been liked by the people. This is the reason why the company has decided to discontinue the fourth generation cars to make the fifth generation reach the market.

The Honda WR-V was launched in the year 2017 with prices starting from Rs.9 lakh onwards while the top variant was selling for around Rs.12 lakhs. Please tell that both these were ex-showroom prices. This car has managed to give tough competition to the sub-compact SUVs.

Honda Jazz was launched in the year 2009. In the international market, this car was introduced under the name Honda Fit. Let us tell you that the company had also updated its features several times. Its price was around 10 to 12 lakhs.

The company had decided to stop the sale of these cars only last year. At the same time, the company is preparing to bring a mid-size SUV later this year which can compete with other cars like Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, Tata Harrier, Volkswagen Tiguan and Skoda Kushaq.
