Honda is the leading two wheeler manufacturing company not only in the country but in the whole world and recently it has created a ruckus by launching the electronic scooter in the market. The company has launched its first electric two wheeler in the market named EM1. Right now this scooter has been launched in the European market but it is being said that it can be launched soon in India as well. Some revelations and claims have been made about this recently launched scooter by the Honda company.
In September, the company had told about this product that the company will launch more than 10 electric two wheeler models in the European market by the year 2025. Recently the company has launched EM1 e and many features have been made available by the company to its customers. Regarding its range, the company has claimed that once fully charged, it will give a range of 48 km.
its design
This scooter launched by Honda is neither a complete scooter nor is it in the moped category. The front of this scooter has been given curvy styling and the rear section has been given an angular shape. Its design is also quite sleek. This scooter has LED light, underseat storage, bottle holder as well as USB charger and apron hook. It uses the motorcycle’s technology for telescope front suspension and a traditional twin shock absorber at the rear. You can also take the top box option of 35 liters in this scooter.
Motor
A hub mounted motor has been given in this electric scooter which is of 0.58 kW. This motor gives an output of 1.7 kW. The battery used in this scooter is a swappable lithium ion battery which weighs around 10 kgs. Along with the battery, a charger is also being given by the company with this electric scooter, which weighs 5.3 kg.
The length of this scooter is 1860 mm and the wheel base is 1300 mm. The ground clearance in this scooter is around 135 mm. Talking about the weight, it weighs 95 kg with the battery. But the company has not yet disclosed anything about its price.
