Honda Activa reigns in the market, beat Hero, Suzuki, TVS, Yamaha scooters last month

Honda Assets Best Selling Scooter:
Hero MotoCorp’s motorcycles may be dominant in the two-wheeler segment in India, but when it comes to scooters, Honda Activa has been one of the best-selling scooters for a long time, which also sold a lot last month. Honda Activa once again surpassed other popular scooters including TVS Jupiter, Suzuki Access, Hero Pleasure, TVS Ntorq, Yamaha Fascino and Hero Maestro in the scooter segment in December 2021. Let us tell you how many units were sold in the last month including Honda Activa and whose sales have decreased.

TVS Jupiter is also quite popular
Looking at the December 2021 scooter sales report, Honda Activa sold a cool 1,04,417 units, which is the highest in this entire month. But it is about 23 percent less than December 2020. Honda Activa’s market share in the scooter segment was around 46 percent last month. After this, TVS’s very popular scooter is TVS Jupiter, which is in 110 cc and 125 cc segment. Jupiter sold a total of 38,142 units in December 2021 and this is a slight decrease in its sales compared to December 2020. The Suzuki Access was the third best-selling scooter last month, with a total of 23,358 units sold, down about 37 per cent as compared to December 2020.

Yamaha Fascino sales up
TVS Ntorq stood at number four in the best selling scooters in December 2021, with a total of 16,859 units sold and 34 per cent lower than in December 2020. Hero Pleasure is at number five in this list and has sold a total of 9205 units. Hero Pleasure has sold about 52 percent less in December 2021 as compared to December 2020. It is followed by Honda Dio, which has sold a total of 8,637 units and is 61 per cent lower than in December 2020. Yamaha Fascino is at number seven and has sold a total of 8455 units. Sales of Fascino have increased in December 2021 as compared to December 2020. Yamaha RZR sold 5,781 units, Suzuki Burgman 5,766 units and Hero Maestro 5,425 units in December 2021.
