Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India (HMSI) has increased the prices of Activa and Activa 125. However, there has been no change in the features or specifications of both these scooters. Honda has increased the price of Activa by Rs 811 while the price of Activa 125 has been increased by Rs 1,177.
The Japanese two-wheeler company has given a big blow to the customers by increasing the price of Activa. Honda scooters are very much liked in the Indian market. Honda Activa: New Price
Talking about the price of Honda Activa, now its starting ex-showroom price is Rs 75,347. The ex-showroom price of its most expensive variant is Rs 81,348. After the increase in the price of Activa 125, the new ex-showroom price starts from Rs. 78,920. Apart from this, the ex-showroom price of the top variant is Rs 86,093.
6G removed from Honda Activa
Let us tell you that there is no difference in the ex-showroom price of the top model of Activa 125 H-Smart. Its ex-showroom price is Rs 88,039 as before. Honda has recently removed the ‘6G’ tag from the Activa 110 scooter. Now this scooter will be sold directly under the name of Honda Activa.
However, no change has been made in the name of Honda Activa 125. There has been no change in the name of Honda Activa 125.
Specifications of Honda Activa
If we talk about Honda Activa, then it comes with 109cc air cool single cylinder engine. In India, it competes with scooters like TVS Jupiter, Suzuki Access, Yamaha Ray ZR and Hero Pleasure Plus.
The power of 124cc air cool engine has been used in Activa 125. It rivals the Suzuki Access 125, Yamaha Fascino 125, TVS Jupiter 125 and the Hero Destini 125.
The company has made a comeback in the 100cc segment with the Shine 100. The deliveries of this scooter have started reaching the dealerships.
