Honda Activa EV: The company has recently launched a new H Smart variant (Activa H-Smart). Apart from this, the company also said that Honda will bring its first electric next year. However, even before the arrival of the company’s electric scooter, a person has converted the Honda Activa into an electric version. 

Activa electric scooter: Honda Activa is currently the best selling scooter in the country. It has been ruling the two-wheeler segment in the country for the past many years. Customers have been waiting for the electric version of this scooter for a long time. Meanwhile, the company has recently launched a new H Smart variant (Activa H-Smart). Apart from this, the company also said that Honda will bring its first electric next year. However, even before the arrival of the company’s electric scooter, a person has converted the Honda Activa into an electric version. 

A YouTube channel named Diy Tech.in has uploaded its video. It has been beautifully modified into the EV version. Even the graphics on the scooter have been made electric. The scooter that has been modified here is the older generation Activa. The engine has been swapped to fit an electric battery. The motor is mounted on the rear wheel. It has been claimed in the video that this motor can generate power of 2 to 2.5 kW. While 2.88 kWh battery has been used. 

According to the person, it can offer a range of 120 km on a single charge. While the top speed of the scooter is 55 km/h. It also gets a smart BMS (Battery Management System), which offers smartphone connectivity to display various information. There is also a parking mode switch, which cuts off the power to the motor. 

The analogue instrumentation in this electric Activa has been replaced with a completely digital unit. The engine starter switch has now been shifted to the horn. Its battery compartment and boot space have not been revealed. The charging point is located near the footboard. If the person is to be believed, it cost around Rs 1 lakh to modify the scooter.
