This is the Ellume test, which uses a nasal swab. The researcher found a vulnerability in the system.
It is noted that the process of falsifying the result was not easy. The researcher used a flashed Android smartphone to access and analyze the data that was sent to the app. So the expert was able to find out how the results are transmitted to the device and verified. Then he wrote two scripts that were able to successfully change a negative result to a positive one. When he received an email with his results from Ellume, it contained a fake result.
Ellume has already learned about the vulnerability and has followed the recommendations of the security researcher.
