Hinges in Samsung laptops break the screen: the company has already been sued

The class action lawsuit says Samsung was hiding the Chromebook defect and refused to reimburse users for repair costs as high as $ 350.

As a reminder, the Chromebook Plus 2-in-1 is a convertible laptop. It can work in both tablet mode and laptop mode. Users have reported that the hinges holding the display are defective and break after daily use. If this happens, the display will crack when opening or closing the Chromebook due to structural failure. In addition, a broken device, in fact, loses its main “chip” – the fact that it is a transformer.
